Marc P. Underhill, MD Joins NWR

Marc P. Underhill, MD has recently joined Northwest Radiology Network, P.C. as an Interventional Radiologist.

The board certified radiologist graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. He then attended Temple University School of Medicine and Indiana University School of Medicine, where he graduated in 2005. Dr. Underhill completed a Medical Internship and Radiology Residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, where he was Chief Resident. Most recently, he completed an Interventional Radiology Fellowship at the same hospital.

Dr. Underhill has held several professional positions throughout his academia, and served as an instructor of Vascular Anatomy at Wayne State University/Henry Ford Hospital. He has also conducted extensive research in areas such as Post Hepatic Embolization Induced Cholecystitis, Posterior Spinal Fusion Rates with Augmentation of BMP, and Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy Hepatic Research.

He is a native of Indianapolis and enjoys competitive rowing, travelling, art, and sports – especially the Indianapolis Colts. Dr. Underhill is a current member of the American Medical Association, Association of University Radiologists, American Society of Spine Radiologists, Association of Chief Residents, Indiana State Medical Association, Indianapolis Medical Society, Radiological Society of North America, Inc., and the American College of Radiology.
