Please meet … Bernadette. She joined the team in January 2011, making this her six-year anniversary with Northwest Radiology! Learn more about Bernadette.

Q: What is your title and role with NWR?

A: My title and role at NWR is medical coder. My duties include reviewing procedures performed by radiologists and assigning the appropriate CPT and ICD10 codes.

Q: How did you get started with Northwest Radiology?

A: I started at NWR as a temp, through Express Professionals, in August 2009.  I worked in collections.

Q: Describe a memorable moment you have had while working for NWR.

A: The memorable moment for me was when I was hired as a full-time employee in the coding department in January 2010. The reason it’s so memorable for me is because at the time I was attending school to be a medical coder. A job opening became available, I applied and the rest is history. The timing was perfect. It’s like I was at the right place at the right time. I was definitely blessed.

Q: What has surprised you most about working for NWR?

A: How the company continues to grow and survive even through some of the struggles the healthcare industry faces

Q: Why would you tell someone to work for NWR?

A: NWR is a professional environment that provides a place for growth and opportunity.

Q: What do you like to do in your free time?

A: I enjoy doing DIY projects in my spare time.
