Northwest Radiology Network, St. John ‘s Women’s Center in Anderson, Indiana, and St. Vincent Mercy Hospital in Elwood, Indiana are offering certificates for $55 mammograms.
Mammograms must be scheduled by May 13th and conducted by June 30th, 2011. Your insurance will not be billed for this service, and you will recieve one screening mammogram with an NWR radiologist’s interpretation.
In order to qualify for this discount you must:
- be a woman of age 40 or over
- have no breast disease symptoms
- do not currently have breast cancer or previously have had breast cancer
- have not had a mammogram in the last 12 months
- have a physician referral
Certificates may be purchased by calling 317-646-8284 for Anderson or 317-552-4941 for Elwood. You may also purchase them in person at the following locations:
- Saint John’s cashier’s office, in the main lobby of Saint John’s Medical Center in Anderson from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
- Saint John’s Ambulatory Services Center registration, 2020 Meridian St., Suite 150, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
- St. Vincent Mercy Hospital’s registration desk anytime in Elwood.
Even if you do not qualify for the $55 certificate, you should still start getting regular mammograms after age 40 or if you have a history of breast cancer in your family. St. Vincent Hospital offers free screening mammograms through the Koman Grant Foundation and St. John’s Health System provides free mammograms through Marie’s Hope Program.
