Northwest Radiology Network welcomes Brian Graner, M.D., as a new neuroradiologist.
Dr. Graner is a specialized radiologist who focuses on abnormalities of the brain, central and peripheral nervous system, spine, head and neck. Primary neuroradiology imaging modalities include CT and MRI.
Dr. Graner received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. He received his Doctor of Medicine from Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minnesota.
After his residency in diagnostic radiology at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, Dr. Graner completed a fellowship in diagnostic neuroradiology at Froedtert Hospital and the Medical College of Wisconsin. He also completed a fellowship in advanced diagnostic neuroradiology at Indiana University.
Dr. Graner is a member of the American College of Radiology and the American Society of Neuroradiology.
Along with an extensive background in research, Dr. Graner has led and contributed to several publications and presentations, including those focusing on Parkinsonism, ASL perfusion imaging, CT radiation dose and digital tomosynthesis, among other topics. Dr. Graner has taught more than 50 resident and fellow lectures and has an intellectual property patent for a method and apparatus for removal of tissue within the femoral head.
