Each month, we will feature team members who are celebrating work anniversaries with Northwest Radiology.

kim_smileyQ: What is your title and role with NWR? What duties does that role include?

A: My title and role at NWR is coding supervisor. My daily responsibilities include reviewing patient records and accurately assigning CPT and ICD10 codes for procedures performed by a radiologist. I also manage a group of professional medical coders.

Q: How did you get started with NWR? Why have you stayed so many years?

A: I was referred to NWR by a friend because I was looking to transition from another medical practice. I truly do enjoy my job and the people I work with.

Q: Describe a memorable moment you have had while working for NWR. Why was it so memorable?

A: I have a lot of really great memorable moments, but I think the most memorable moment has to be when we moved into the new business office … bye bye warehouse! 🙂

Q: What has surprised you most about working for Northwest Radiology?

A: How the organization has strategically survived and thrived through all the complexities of the healthcare industry

Q: Why would you tell someone to work for NWR?

A: Working for NWR is both challenging and rewarding. While it is a very fast-paced, fluid environment, it provides a place of growth and opportunity for anyone who is willing to learn and has a desire to develop professionally.

Q: What do you like to do in your free time?

A: I love to read, spend time with my family and listen to music.
