Welcome our New Physician

Michael Huang, MD

Dr. Michael Huang is a musculoskeletal radiologist who received his Doctor of Medicine from University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa. He completed a diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Virginia Health System in Charlottesville, Va., followed by a musculoskeletal imaging fellowship at Indiana University Health. Board certified in musculoskeletal and general radiology, Dr. Huang’s expertise includes mammography and image-guided procedures, such as paracentesis and thoracentesis, and ultrasound/CT-guided biopsies along with epidural steroid injection.

Alan Engel, MD

Dr. Alan Engel is a breast imaging radiologist who received his Doctor of Medicine from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. He completed a diagnostic radiology residency at the Indiana University School of Medicine, followed by an abdominal imaging fellowship at the University of Michigan and a breast imaging fellowship at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Certified by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Engel authored several articles on the importance of mammography and vaccinations for the South Bend Tribune.

Daniel Hill, MD

Dr. Daniel Hill is a neuroradiologist who received his Doctor of Medicine from Weill Cornell Medical College in New York. He completed a diagnostic radiology residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center followed by a neuroradiology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital at Harvard Medical School. Board certified by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Hill’s research includes the protein ADAM17 and its role in cartilage development; the imaging characteristics of Candida albicans spondylitis; and focal spinal cord deformities.

Karen Rea, MD

Dr. Karen Rea is a body and breast imaging radiologist who received her Doctor of Medicine from the Indiana University School of Medicine. She completed a diagnostic radiology residency followed by a hybrid abdominal imaging and mammography fellowship at the Indiana University School of Medicine. She served on the American College of Radiology (ACR) Global Health Committee and was a Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) representative from Indiana University. Her international experience includes volunteering in Ecuador and working alongside Kenyan medical personnel.

David Dragoo, MD

Dr. David Dragoo is a body imaging radiologist who received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria, Ill. He completed a diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, followed by an abdominal imaging fellowship at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Board eligible by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Dragoo is a member of the Society for Abdominal Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society, Radiological Society of North America, American College of Radiology and American Medical Association.
