Dr. Ahmad started a chapter at Indiana University for RAD-AID, a World Health Organization and United Nations-sponsored organization dedicated to bringing radiology to the developing world, with the objective of developing a global health in radiology curriculum for the residents. His research experience includes a project based on the biomarker approach to defeating neurodegenerative disorders. He has also co-authored publications on the topics of CT findings of patients treated with irreversible electroporation for locally-advanced pancreatic cancer; and pelvic collateral pathways in aorto-iliac occlusive disease.
