NWR HR Manager Melanie Lesser with Best-in-Class Award

Northwest Radiology Network has been recognized as best in class for human resource management among midsize employers by Gallagher Insurance and Risk Management.

Each year, Gallagher conducts a survey of their clients, looking for best practices in human resource management. Northwest Radiology is one of just two companies from Gallagher’s Indiana customer base that received this designation.

The best in class are experimenting with ways to manage total healthcare spending and were less likely to increase employees’ contributions to health plan premiums.

Midsize best-in-class employers also invest more in programs for employee wellness and disease management, measuring success through employee engagement and satisfaction as well as participation.

“Being honored for best-in-class human resource management includes having lower turnover rates, communicating strategically with our employees and having more focused employee engagement efforts,” said Northwest Radiology Executive Director and CFO Linda Wilgus. “We want to especially recognize our human resources manager, Melanie Lesser, for this accomplishment and all her efforts in making Northwest Radiology a great place to work.”

The recognition for achieving “Best-in-Class Performance for Human Resource Management” is based on an analysis of data from Gallagher’s 2017 Benefits Strategy & Benchmarking Survey, which collected benefit and human capital strategy findings from more than four thousand organizations of all sizes.
