Q: What is your title/role and duties with Northwest Radiology?
A: I am a Registered Radiologic Technologist. I do MRI, CT and occasionally X-ray. I screen patients for safety prior to MRIs, perform scans and administer gadolinium or iodine-based contrasts when required for the exams.
Q: How did you get started with Northwest Radiology?
A: I heard about NWR many years ago through a former coworker. When they posted a job opening, I applied and was lucky enough to be hired!
Q: Why have you stayed so many years?
A: This is honestly the best place I have ever worked. The technologists and radiologists all work hard to do what’s best for our patients.
Q: Describe NWR in one word.
A: Trustworthy
Q: Tell me something you wish other people knew about Northwest Radiology.
A: Behind the scenes, employees are really working hard for our patients. Not only the techs doing the exams, but also the front office and business office employees who are getting the orders from referring physicians’ offices, scheduling appointments and working with insurance companies to make sure pre-certification of exams is being completed ahead of time.
Q: Why would you tell someone to work for NWR?
A: My coworkers are all great people who get along well and are willing to help each other when needed. And the Christmas parties are always a good time!
Q: What do you like to do in your free time?
A: I like to travel, listen to live music, and spend time with my family.
