Q: What is your title and role with NWR?

A: General radiology with mammo subspecialty

Q: Why did you choose to work in the field of radiology and, specifically, your subspecialty?

A: Radiology is like solving a visual puzzle, and I particularly like mammo because there’s more patient contact.

Q: How did you get started with Northwest Radiology? Why have you stayed?

A: I started at Northwest Radiology in 2006. I work with a nice, well-balanced group of people, and the work and environment are fun for me.

Q: Describe a memorable moment you have had while working for NWR.

A: My sister unexpectedly died, and I got the call at the 106th Street office. The technologist, Barb Maxwell, blocked the schedule and drove me home without my asking. She notified the business office, and they gave me the next day off. They did it all before I even had time to process things.

A: Professional

Q: What is something you wish other people knew about NWR?

A: NWR’s flat-rate-pricing and easy access at outpatient imaging centers

A: Bargain shopping/couponing, watching “The Walking Dead,” and going to live concerts
