We are excited to welcome Anwar T. Ashraf, MD, as a new musculoskeletal radiologist on the Northwest Radiology team!

Dr. Ashraf received his Bachelor of Science in biology from Creighton University in Omaha, Neb. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. Following a preliminary medicine internship and diagnostic radiology residency at Indiana University, he completed a MSK radiology fellowship at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.

Dr. Ashraf is a member of the American Roentgen Ray Society, the oldest radiology society in the United States. He is also a member of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), American College of Radiology, Indiana Radiological Society and American Medical Association.

Participating in Grand Rounds with the Indiana University Department of Medicine, Dr. Ashraf has presented twice at the American Roentgen Ray Society Annual Meeting, with the Nuclear Medicine Case of the Day and the Pediatrics Case of the Day. He has also completed a radiology externship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and contributed to several publications and abstracts.
