Meet the NWR Team: Patricia

Northwest Radiology would not be successful without the hard work and commitment of our dedicated team! We are proud to have such outstanding team members who not only provide exceptional care to our clients, but who also work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly every day.

We want to thank our team members for their service and show everyone what a wonderful team we have, so we want you to “Meet the NWR Team.”

Each month, we will feature team members who are celebrating work anniversaries with Northwest Radiology.

Please meet … Patricia. She was hired in April 2001, making this her 15-year anniversary with Northwest Radiology! Learn more about Patricia.

Patricia Borders_UpdateQ: What is your title/role and duties with Northwest Radiology?

A: I am a radiology tech assistant and work in the front office. My duties include assisting with the processing of X-rays, performing DEXA bone density scans and helping out in the front office.

Q: How did you get started with Northwest Radiology? Why have you stayed so many years?

A: A former coworker referred me for the job, and I got it! One reason I have stayed so many years is because I have really been able to branch out and try new things. In my 15 years here, I have worked in both the front and back office, have helped out as an imaging assistant and am now serving as a radiology tech assistant.

Q: Describe a memorable moment you have had while working for Northwest Radiology.

A: Participating in the Race for the Cure with the NWR team.  It was always a lot of fun and great to be part of something so big!

Q: What has surprised you about working for NWR?

A: Northwest Radiology is really flexible in working with your schedule.

Q: Why would you tell someone to work for NWR?

A: I would tell people to work for NWR because of the other employees and the radiologists.  Everyone is very friendly and helpful, and that makes NWR a great company to work for.

Q: What do you like to do in your free time?

A: With work, taking online classes, two kids and a husband, I do not have a lot of free time! Most of my time is spent watching my kids’ school activities and my son play baseball. My kids and I do volunteer at an animal shelter every week.  I also love IU men’s basketball and will not miss watching a game.
