Art for Beds

Through a collaborative relationship with Executive Women in Healthcare, Art for Beds promotes and showcases local artists while raising money to support Gennesaret’s Women’s Health Services.

Gennesaret Free Clinics serves the homeless and working poor with quality healthcare. Started in 1988, Gennesaret Free Clinics became the first agency in Indianapolis to bring medical care to the homeless.

Over the years, Gennesaret Free Clinics has grown and thrived through the willingness, dedication and hard work of more than 200 volunteer healthcare professionals and others from the community. Today, Gennesaret Free Clinics has medical clinics in one shelter, a church, a mobile medical van and clinic sites in two food pantries – all staffed by volunteers.

The Women’s Health Initiative (WHI) was started in 1995 to provide Gennesaret’s female patient population with access to early detection services for breast and cervical cancer. Northwest Radiology provides mammography services to the women of Gennesaret and is honored to do so.

In 2015, WHI provided 124 women screening mammograms; 25 women diagnostic mammograms; and 109 women well-woman exams.
